比々多聖観音

-慈眼寺衆生　福聚海無量

法泉寺にお祀りする比々多聖観音は、総高六メートルを超える堂々たるお姿の観音菩薩でございます。
一面二臂（いちめんにひ）――一つの顔と二本の腕を持ち、最も人の姿に近い観音様で、「観音菩薩」「観世音菩薩」とも称されます。

その名は、「常に衆生を観（み）て、その救いの声（音）に応える」という深い慈悲の心に由来いたします。
また、苦しみの中にある方々を救うため、千手観音や十一面観音など様々なお姿に変化し、救いの手を差し伸べてくださいます。

比々多聖観音は、その変わらぬお姿「聖観音」として、訪れるすべての方を温かく見守り続けています。
足下には「摩尼車（まにぐるま）」が設置されており、一周回すことで「観音経」を一回唱えたのと同じ功徳が得られ、観音様のご加護をお受けいただけます。

Hibita Shō Kannon at Hōsenji

The Hibita Shō Kannon, enshrined at Hōsenji Temple, is a majestic statue of the Bodhisattva Kannon standing over six meters tall.
With one face and two arms (ichimen-nihi), she closely resembles the human form and is also known as “Kannon Bosatsu” or “Kanzeon Bosatsu.”

Her name reflects her vow to watch over all beings and respond instantly to their cries for help.
At her feet stands a mani-guruma (prayer wheel); turning it once is said to grant the same merit as reciting the Kannon-kyō once, bringing the blessings of Kannon to all.

本門喜徳稲荷尊天

ほんもんきとくいなりそんてん

-江戸時代より伊勢原市に密着したお稲荷様

　当稲荷様は、かつて東京赤坂新町において、法泉寺第33世住職の叔父・叔母が、第二次世界大戦以前に江戸時代より伝わる日蓮宗「喜妙講（きみょうこう）」を設立・勧請したものです。
その霊験あらたかさから多くの参拝者で賑わいましたが、叔父・叔母の逝去に伴い一度は解散しました。
その後、第33世住職が晋山（入寺）する際に、改めて法泉寺へ勧請され、現在に至ります。

　戦後より法泉寺を守護する喜徳稲荷尊天は、檜皮葺（ひわだぶき）の立派な御社と精緻な細工を持ち、当時の「喜妙講」が多くの人々の信仰を集めていたことを今に伝えています。
今でも通りすがりの方が足を止め、手を合わせてお参りする姿が見られ、昔も今も人々に寄り添い、大きなご利益を授けてくださるお稲荷様として親しまれています。お稲荷様は、些細な願いごとでも気軽にお祈りできる、日本で古くから信仰される身近な神様です。

　現在、祠を守る檜皮葺き屋根の木材や波板が腐食し、倒壊の危険があるため、修復を検討しております。
お賽銭は全額、祠および屋根・壁の修復費用に充てさせていただきます。

檜皮葺（ひわだぶき）屋根（Hiwadabuki Roof）

檜皮葺は、日本古来の伝統的屋根工法で、飛鳥時代に広まり、平安時代には寺社建築で最も格式の高い様式となりました。
樹齢百年以上の檜の皮を採取し、職人が丁寧に葺き上げることで、美しい曲線と高い耐久性を兼ね備え、三十年以上建物を守ります。
代表例として、出雲大社本殿、厳島神社本殿、北野天満宮本殿などがあります。
お稲荷様の祠で檜皮葺が用いられるのは非常に珍しいとされています。
また、2020年には「伝統建築工匠の技：木造建造物を受け継ぐための伝統技術」として、ユネスコ無形文化遺産に登録されました。

Honmon Kitoku Inari Sonten

Kittoku Inari Sonten was originally enshrined in Akasaka Shinmachi, Tokyo, by the uncle and aunt of Hōsenji’s 33rd chief priest, as part of the Nichiren Buddhist fellowship Kimyōkō, which dates back to the Edo period.
Renowned for its miraculous blessings, it once drew many worshippers, but was dissolved after the founders’ passing. It was later re-invited to Hōsenji upon the 33rd priest’s induction.
Since the postwar era, it has protected Hōsenji Temple. Its shrine, with a hiwadabuki (cypress bark) roof and intricate craftsmanship, stands as a testament to the strong faith of the past.
Even today, passersby stop to offer prayers, and the Inari deity remains beloved in the community.
Due to deterioration, restoration is planned, with all offerings dedicated to the shrine’s repair.
